This carport project perfectly demonstrates that the GMS® DOUBLE system offers double benefits not only for agricultural Agri PV projects, but is suitable as a parking canopy as well. Besides generating additional electricity, the roofing shades the parking spaces and protects them from rain and hail.
30 parking lots were covered, with space for two cars between each pair of posts. Concrete bumpers are attached to each post. After pre-drilling the hard paving, the posts were rammed into the ground – this means that no material-intensive and expensive foundations are required.
