Hirschbach (D)

At the Hirschbach slag heap in Saarbrücken-Dudweiler, 80,000 square meters of a former mining site were developed into a high-performance renewable energy facility. This challenging terrain required our experienced team to combine many customized solutions: planning that took groundwater monitoring stations into account; piled foundations where the geotextile allowed, and concrete incast foundations in other areas; two-piece posts with a special hole pattern for height adjustment as well as a specific post coating; ASSEMBLY 2.0 for tightly spaced construction…

The result is impressive: an area shaped by mining for decades is now being put to a new, sustainable use. Despite the challenging conditions, we were able to complete the solar park in record time. Furthermore, the project impressively demonstrates how modern 3D planning, technical expertise, flexible solutions, and efficient construction work together to ensure that even complex projects are completed safely and on schedule.
