MKG Göbel is currently participating in another project of our partner Goldbeck Solar: On a former landfill site east of Breda (NL), a large solar park is being built which will supply electricity for approx. 13,000 households after completion in spring 2021. MKG Göbel supplied the GMS® MAX substructure. The highly innovative ASSEMBLY 2.0 system from MKG Göbel ensured a very rapid installation of the solar panels. Here, bifacial modules were used, which also utilise the diffused light on the rear side and thus have a higher efficiency. Our engineers have optimised the GMS® MAX system for the bifacial modules with some simple modifications.
Also the skills of the MKG installation teams were challenged: they set all posts (concrete foundation) without damaging the surface layer above the landfill waste or the gas pipelines running below it.
